The Lest We Forget Tribute is a special musical commemoration which brings together some of Australia’s best veteran, military and civilian artists to honour the fallen.
The 2025 Lest We Forget Tribute was held on Anzac Eve – Thursday 24th April at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt, broadcast live by Channel 7 and SkyNews.
The Tribute raises much needed funds and awareness for the RSL Anzac Appeal supporting veterans and their families, and this year’s Tribute was viewed by almost 500,000 people across Australia.
The 2025 Lest We Forget Tribute featured over two hundred military, veteran and civilian artists including The Australian Military Wives Choir, The Band of the 4th/3rd Battalion NSW Regiment, The Australian Remembrance Orchestra and many others.
The Tribute also included Veterans Tributes for some of Australia’s oldest Veterans, Des Jones (WWII Navy Veteran), Norma Booth (WWII Army Veteran) and John McAuley (WWII RAAF Veteran) as well as stories of younger Veterans Tributes for Veterans Families, a Procession of Drums and Book Remembrance and The Ode, Last Post, a Minutes Silence and Rouse.
