LEST WE FORGET ~ An Anzac Day Tribute is a very special commemoration which brings together some of Australia’s finest veteran, military and civilian artists to honour the fallen.
LEST WE FORGET 2022 was held at the Sydney Town Hall on Monday 25 April (3.30pm) with the Tribute supporting veterans and their families via the charities RSL and Legacy.
Participating artists included the Royal Australian Navy Band, the Army’s Lancer Band, Normie Rowe AM, Mark Vincent, John Schumann, Amelia Farrugia, Simon Tedeschi, Jane Rutter, and a full Choir and Orchestra conducted by Eugene Raggio and led by Warwick Adeney (Concertmaster, QLD Symphony).
A very special highlight of the event was The Veteran’s Tribute to 101 year old Dennis Davis, a ‘Rat of Tobruk’ and one of Australia’s last remaining veterans from World War II.
UPDATE: We are truly saddened to report that since Anzac Day 2022, Dennis Davis passed away. Our sincere condolences to Dennis’ family and friends.
