LEST WE FORGET ~ An Anzac Day Tribute is hosted by The Australian Remembrance Foundation, a registered charity established to encourage and promote Anzac and Remembrance commemorations.
PATRON: The Patron of the Foundation is General The Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK, AC (MIL), CVO MC (Retd).
General Sir Peter Cosgrove served as the 26th Governor-General of Australia from 2014 to 2019. A graduate of the Royal Military College, Duntroon, Sir Peter fought in the Vietnam War, receiving the Military Cross in 1971. Sir Peter’s lifetime of service has included roles as the Chief of Army, Chief of the Defence Force, and as commander of the International Force for East Timor (INTERFET).
CHAIR: The Chair of the Foundation is Dr Michael Easson AM, the Chair and Founder of EG and honorary President of the Australia Defence Association. Michael holds a PhD in History from the Australian Defence Force Academy (UNSW).
