NORMIE ROWE AM

Our first King Of Pop. He was far and away, Australia’s most successful pop idol in the mid-60s and produced a string of hits that are an important contribution to the soundtrack of the Baby Boomer generation. “Que Sera Sera”, “Shakin’ All Over”, and “It Ain’t Necessarily So” among them, produced fan and media hysteria unseen before or since for an Australian artist. At the peak of his popularity, Normie was called up for Army service. Upon his return, he turned his hand to television with a long run in Sons and Daughters which led to his critically acclaimed role as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables. Normie is a vocal and unstinting advocate for Vietnam Veterans. Normie is an Australian treasure and the consummate entertainer.

ANTHONY FIELD AM

Best known as a member of the children’s group The Wiggles and for his involvement in the 1980s and 90s chart-topping band The Cockroaches. From 1982-85, Anthony served as a member of Australia’s regular army, as an infantry soldier and as a piper with the 5th/7th battalion Royal Australian Regiment. Anthony served in Germany and Holland in 1984. In the early 1990s, after The Cockroaches disbanded, Anthony obtained his Diploma in Education, going on to create The Wiggles. Anthony is the Creative Director for the group and the Blue Wiggle. Since forming over thirty years ago, The Wiggles have achieved phenomenal success worldwide.

PATRICIA AMPHLETT OAM (Little Pattie)

Initially aspiring to medicine, at 14 Patricia won a talent quest, catapulting her music career as “Little Pattie.” Her hits like “He’s My Blonde-Headed Stompie Wompie Real Gone Surfer Boy” brought enormous success. When she was just 17, Little Pattie sang for Australian Troops at Nui Dat on the day the Battle of Long Tan broke out nearby. This sparked a lifelong interest in veteran support for which she has been distinguished with humanitarian honors. Globally touring from China to The Ed Sullivan Show, Little Pattie has championed causes, earned an Order of Australia in 2003, and advocated for arts/music education, leaving an enduring Australian cultural legacy.

NEIL PIGOT

An actor and documentary writer/presenter with a military family history including his uncle John Alan McQueen who died as a POW in 1943. Best known for playing Inspector Falcon Price on Blue Heelers, Pigot has also written and presented Australian military history documentaries including The Digger for Fox History. In 1993, he produced The Changi Songbook album, featuring original songs written in the Changi POW camp by 8th Division AIF members.

MARK VINCENT

Winner of Australia’s Got Talent 2009, has since gone on to release 9 albums on the SONY Label, with 8 having reached #1 on the ARIA Classical Crossover charts. In 2014. Mark made his musical theatre debut in the Australian national production of Dirty Dancing, following in 2016 with My Fair Lady, directed by Dame Julie Andrews DBE.

Mark concluded 2017 with a sold-out tour of the UK, as a special guest of world-renowned soprano, Katherine Jenkins. Mark is a constant regular on the 7 network’s Carols in the Domain.
